It is a good time for spring outing when the grasses are tall and the nightingales are in the air in a radiant and enchanting spring scene!
In order to enrich students' extracurricular life and cultivate students' practical ability, on 25th March, Anqing Foreign Language School's Junior High Department of the east campus organized all the teachers and students to head for the Five-Thousand-Year Cultural Expo Garden for an a spring outing, which is a famous cultural and historical scenic spot in Anhui Province.
To be concrete, the Five-Thousand-Year Cultural Expo Garden combines classical Hui-style architecture with Suzhou garden, consisting of pavilions, terraces and towers, water flowing beneath a little bridge, carved stones, and cultural landscapes. What's more, the Five-Thousand-Year Cultural Expo Garden comprises hundreds of cultural attractions such as the Five-Thousand-Year Cultural Corridor, Five-Thousand-Year Root Sculpture Cultural Garden, the World's Number One Authority, Huangmei Opera Art Street, Panlong, the Ancient Cultural Plank Road, the Cultural Park of China's Four Great Classic Novels, Chinese Filial Piety Garden, as well as Huaxia Love Cultural Park. All the students dressed neatly in school uniforms, and formed an orderly queue, walking in the rich spring scenery and running on the broad grassland. In addition, the students all smiled as beautiful as spring flowers, happy like birds flying freely in the sky, whose pressure can be eased. More noticeably, the students were relaxed physically and mentally.
Evidently, the exhibition with cultural connotation in the Expo Garden made all students feel that the trip was worthwhile. Besides, the spring outing practice activity made the students walk out of the campus and embrace the spring, pleasing their body and mind, increasing their knowledge, feeling the fun of group activities and enjoying the spiritual and cultural journey.
All in all, on the way home, though tired, the students were in high spirits! Life is most beautiful when you are young, and we should live up to our glorious youth and dreams!
